Introduction

I like to introduce myself to you... I am Stanley Benjamin of Thai origin. I am 67 years old and a retired Customs Officer. I live in Mantin, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. My hobbies are rearing of fishes, birds, and creating miniature Landscapes. I also like to meet new friends not forgetting the old ones, of any race or religion.
I name my blog Adventure because I love adventure and love to venture into the countryside where beautiful landscapes exist. At present, I spend most of my time trapping birds like the zebra doves ( merbok ) and the spotted doves ( terkukur ). To be very frank, I am not that serious in trapping birds but it is an excuse to bring along my bird into the wild and meet fellow trappers. We do more gossiping than trap birds...
I choose to indulge in this hobby because at my age I believe we senior citizens need to find something to do what we like especially our hobbies. Time flies very fast and our body and mind is active.
Poaching in most countries is an offense and even in Malaysia we can trap only certain species. As far as trapping merbok And terkukur here in Malaysia is NOT an offense. Thank God.
Most people say that trapping birds and then caging them is against any religion. My point of view is, of course you will not agree is, Yes, I agree, but not only birds but any action we do in life which involves in confinement of living creatures like dogs, cats, fishes, even humans...in prisons ect., is a mortal sin. Ha, ha, it is only an example.
